I dunno, with association, it goes all the way back 3-4 years with me. With my first springer <3
I've been an upcoming member since then, getting my first AEG a little over a year ago =O.
Now I have 2 AEGS, a G-SPEC, and a GBB.
I'm proud with how far I came.
And...everyone else's stories?

I first found about Airsoft from a friend's brother. He had a cheap spring pistol that was beyond awesome at the time. After begging and pleasing my mom I got my own springer for Christmas '04. That little $15 pistol was the coolest gift I got. For the next year or so I bought many cheap pieces of crap and in January '06 I found out about real Airsoft. In March '06 I bought my first high end gun an ICS MP5SD5. I attended my first skirmish in June '06 and attended every game until June '07 when the site in Waterford mysteriously has been shut down with no further information. I now own a CA G36K with every add-on under the sun, a TM M1911 with every goodie, a stock TM MP7, and a modifed TM Hicapa 5.1 I have owned several Chi-Man AEGs and I can say that they are all pretty much crap. TM all the way for me.

Heh, it's been a while for me. Let's see... I guess I really started getting into the airsoft community around early 2005 [that's when I registered with AS-R, the most oppressive airsoft forum in existence]. I bought a Maruzen '870 around that time. I think I bought a KSC G17 from Crescent before that, though. So I'd say... about 4.25 years, or so. I've been in the sport long enough to remember when Roger [Milith] was a noobcake, though.
