Every game we seemed to be plagued with at least one weapon breaking down...and none of us have the tools, or even knowledge to fix it. I find myself there alot xD
Anyhow, last game we had a staggering 3 AEGS, 1 AEP downed, and even a lost AEP mag!
That's terrible =P
Any way to prevent this??
Shoot before a game?
Shoot days before a game?
Anything!

For people with guns prone to breakdown [especially replicas handled and used by others without a lot of owner scrutiny], I really recommend checking gun function the day before a game. To add to that recommendation, some advice: Be wary of 'upgrades', used guns for sale, and the brand/price of items purchased. Terrible BB's can be predicted. Crappy brands can be avoided. 'Upgrade' information can be gathered. We're airsofters. We have thousands of virtual communities of fellow airsofters, along with abundant sources of useful information (the internet, in general). I can't stress enough the importance of durability. Durability may cost extra money, but it saves a hell of a lot, in the long run. I always do some thorough searching and studying before I spend money on a gun. If it isn't quite durable, I won't waste my money. Glocks are prone to accidental mag-release-button depression. Next time I'm going to tape my mag in. As for your AEP: Faulty mag.
